My NDIS item number worked last year. Why is it flagged now?

The NDIS Support Catalogue changes, usually from 1 July and sometimes mid-year. An item can be retired or replaced by a versioned item, for example a number ending in _CA becoming _CA2. If you invoice with the old number for supports after the change, our check flags it so you can switch to the current item.

What it depends on: The date of support and the catalogue version in force on that date.

What stays human: A person explains the flag and which item replaced the old one.

Formats we accept

We accept every current format: classic five-part numbers, longer second segments, six-part numbers with a suffix such as _CA or _NF, versioned suffixes such as _CA2, and named items.
