Why was a support item number flagged as expired?
Legacy items in the catalogue have real end dates. If the date of support is after an item’s end date, the line is flagged because that item should no longer be claimed. The fix is usually to use the replacement item from the current catalogue and re-issue the invoice.
What it depends on: The date of support on the invoice and the item’s start and end dates in the current catalogue.
What stays human: A person checks the flag with you. Supports delivered before the end date can still be claimed with the old item.
What to check
Look up the item in the current catalogue. If it shows as legacy with an end date, find the item that replaced it.
