How invoicing works with a plan manager

What plan management means for you as a provider
When your client is plan managed, you don't claim directly through the myplace provider portal and you don't wait on the participant to pay you personally. Instead, a registered plan manager (like MyMoney) sits between you and the NDIA:
- You deliver the support and send your invoice to the plan manager — not to the NDIA.
- The plan manager checks the invoice against the participant's plan — service codes, GST, dates and available funds.
- They pay you, then claim the amount back from the NDIA on the participant's behalf.
The upside for you: you can work with plan-managed participants even if you are not NDIS-registered, and you deal with one responsive payer instead of chasing individuals.
